aromas of blackberry and cassis. Tannins are moderately
firm, pleasantly wrapped up in a long, plush finish.

The fruit was predominately sourced from the old vines of the Layne Vineyard. 2005 was well suited toward bringing out the classic spice and pepper qualities of Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the warmth of Southern Oregon.
