Fermentation was done in tank to preserve the crispness and finesse as well as to maximize fruit characteristics. Lies were stirred frequently to add body a special yeast was used to release additional aromatics. Vintner's Focus

State of the Winery - Part III
In the March newsletter, I spoke of our commitment at Troon Vineyard to be stewards of our community. In this issue I'd like to share some of our recent efforts.
At the beginning of January, we took on the task of becoming compliant under all the new regulation that came from the Supreme Court ruling a couple of years ago. Compliance with the new requirements has been an undertaking of epic proportions. The information, though promised to be readily available was cryptically difficult to understand and the number of exceptions to every rule numerous.
Through months of hard work, we have finally worked through many of the State offices and now are able to apply the appropriate taxes to the appropriate items in the right states. In speaking with some of our colleagues, we understand that this process is not feasible to accomplish for some and these wineries are choosing the ''don't worry about it until they come to you'' method of dealing with the situation. We sympathize with these small organizations, but believe this is not a sustainable option.
We have chosen to move forward in a leadership role, not to say we agree with the new regulations, but we feel we must abide by them.
In an effort to respond to these changes and support not only our legislators but also our clients, I have asked Team Troon to implement an accessible way of receiving our wines for our out of area champions. Effective April 1st, we will honor for all orders submitted on the website an extremely affordable fixed rate for shipping outlined below:
$6 charge for 2-5 bottle of wine
(2 bottle minimum - packaging & applicable taxes apply)
$10 charge for 6-11 bottles
(packaging & applicable taxes apply)
Free Shipping on full case purchases or more
(taxes may apply)
Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to mix and match discount offers but we hope that this will make it easier for you to access the numerous new wines released at Troon Vineyard throughout the year.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you soon,
Chris Martin - Vintner
