February 9th & 10th- Applegate Silver & Gold Release Weekend, 1-4 pm

We will be hosting a Mardi Gras party full of masks, beads, wines, food pairings and music!

Menu includes our 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve paired with Andouille Sausage, 2011 Foundation '72 Zinfandel paired with Grumbo and 2011 Viognier paired with Etouffee.
Live music by Great Minds UnPlugged.

What is a celebration without sparkling wine? We will be releasing our 2012 Semi-Sparkling White Wine to our membership! Two weeks before the public release.

Itinerary

February 9th & 10th - Pick up period begins.
February 10th After 5 pm - Wine Club billing for those that didn't pick up
February 11th- Wine Club Shipping for UPS Members
March 2nd & 3rd- Last Weekend to Pick Up *** You will have 3 weeks to pick up your selections
March 4th- Will Call Shipping for selections not picked up, unless you have made special arrangements by phone or email.

The Wines

2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve - New Release! Only in exceptional years do we reserve special lots of wine, giving them extended aging in choice French oak barrels (24 months). The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is rich and supple with notes of black cherry, cedar, plum and vanilla. It is, as are all our Reserve wines, unfined and unfiltered to preserve its body and integrity. 278 cases total production.

2011 Foundation '72 Zinfandel- Originally planted by our founder Dick Troon in 1972, Zinfandel has been our focus and pride from the very beginning. Exclusively sourced from the Kubli Bench, an Applegate Valley micro-climate known for its warmth and well-drained soils, we present this classic, well-balanced Zinfandel with flavors of red cherries accented by hints of black pepper and ripe pomegranate. SILVER MEDAL at San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the largest competition in the United States!

2011 Viognier- Full of floral and litchi notes on the nose, the wine transitions to white peach, apricot and ripe melons on the palate. The wine is dry with a clean and bright finish. It is a great accompaniment to spicy dishes. Only 105 cases total production. Only 105 cases produced.
