More than a Tasting Room
Troon Vineyard is dedicated to providing an enjoyable and informative wine tasting experience, and our friendly, knowledgeable staff is ready to welcome you at one of our locations. We believe that tasting wine should be fun, not at all daunting, and certainly not stuffy. And while we are serious about our seriously good wine, we are even more determined that you will leave here glad that you came.
In Southern Oregon, the Troon estate is the Applegate Valley Wine Trail’s most popular winery destination, with our beautiful Mediterranean-style tasting room, covered stone patio, bocce ball court, and grassy, shaded picnic area where guests linger to enjoy the expansive views of our vineyards and the gorgeous foothills surrounding the valley.
The Applegate Valley AVA, established in 2001, is a sub-appellation to the Rogue Valley AVA. Its proximity to the towns of Ashland, Medford, Jacksonville, and Grants Pass make it a favorite wine tasting destination for visitors and residents alike. And no trip to the AVAVA is complete without a visit to the Troon Vineyard Estate.
Our Willamette Valley tasting room is located in the charming and historic town of Carlton. Originally founded as a railroad stop just before the turn of the 20th century, this authentic western town now boasts a selection of tasting rooms and dining options in the heart of Yamhill County wine country. Just a short distance from Salem or McMinnville, Carlton is an essential stop on any Willamette Valley visit. During the summer, the Carlton tasting room hosts a Saturday night concert series, featuring live local music and offering wines by the glass or bottle.
