“Farm Like the World Depends on It”

Troon Vineyard is proud to be the first estate farm in Oregon and the second winery in the world to become Regenerative Organic Certified™️ and the fourth farm worldwide to become Regenerative Organic Gold Certified®. With our fall 2021 releases, we were the first winery in the world to feature the Regenerative Organic Certified™️ logo on our labels and with our 2022 vintage, the first to display the Gold Certified logo on our labels. Founded in 2018, the Regenerative Organic Certification is a revolutionary new certification that champions farmers who go above and beyond in the three pillars of this certification: soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness. By attaining this certification, Troon Vineyard is helping to address long-term solutions to climate change and some of the biggest agricultural issues of our time.

“We imagine a world in which farmers, brands, policymakers, educators, researchers, and citizens join together to create a healthy food system that respects land and animals, empowers people and restores communities and ecosystems through regenerative organic farming” ROC

Becoming a Regenerative Organic Certified™️ farm is just part of our work towards establishing a biodiverse permaculture on our farm in Oregon’s Applegate Valley. This discipline, layered on top of our Demeter Biodynamic® and CCOF Organic Certifications addresses the complexities we face as farmers dealing with the complexities and uncertainties of climate change. It reflects our commitment to no-till agriculture, carbon sequestration, and permaculture as stewards of this farm for future generations. We also firmly believe that this is the best way to craft truly distinctive wines that speak clearly of our vineyards and the character of the Kubli Bench here in the Applegate Valley.

“Our vision since the beginning is to produce the exceptional, individualistic wines in a regenerative way that gives back to the earth. We are hoping to bring an even greater focus on these practices to help spread the word and, in turn, help heal the earth one farm at a time — farm like the world depends on it,” says Troon General Manager Craig Camp.
